Homemade edible calculator
Enter your flower, its THC %, and how many pieces you’ll make. We’ll estimate the THC in each piece.
About 24.5 mg THC per piece
Whole batch: about 392 mg THC. If nothing were lost while cooking, it could be up to 43.8 mg per piece.
How the estimate works
Flower grams × 1,000 × THC % gives the most THC the flower could contain. Heating and cooking always lose some, so our main number assumes about 56% ends up in the food, which is typical for home recipes. That total is then split evenly across your pieces.
Use the Total THC number from the label. Real results vary with your recipe and how evenly it’s mixed, so treat this as a rough estimate, not a lab result.
Only testing can establish actual potency. Follow regulated product labels, store edibles securely, and do not use this estimate to decide a safe amount. Edible effects can be delayed for hours; avoid taking more while waiting. Review our cannabis safety guide and daytime vs nighttime guide for duration and planning considerations.
Put your preferences into context
Use the Strain Finder to compare reported effects, then check the current product label. Its reference listings are not a live inventory or a promise of how a product will feel.
